Land & Sky / Tony Sheffield at Sturt

Double Bill Christmas Exhibitions & Night Market

Sturt’s Artisans Night Market 2019, and a double bill of Christmas exhibitions celebrates the culture of the Southern Highlands.

A minuscule part of the land mass of Australia, the Southern Highlands, rising to a peak of 863 metres is Tony Sheffield’s canvas for this exhibition. During the past 18 years Tony has lived and worked here as chief photographer for Highlife magazine, promoting all that makes it an area of outstanding natural beauty.

This collection of new works depicting the area’s undulating high-country landscape, flora, farm life and scenic waters, was photographed in freezing misty dawns to crimson sunsets to both inspire and reveal to you the essence of the Southern Highlands.
